Hyundai Teases its All-Electric Kona

The Hyundai Kona Electric will make its official debut at the end of February.

The Korean automaker is saying the Kona Electric will be the first fully-electric compact SUV in Europe, when it heads to market this summer. The crossover will be unveiled February 27, ahead of the car’s first public appearance at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Hyundai also said the Kona Electric will feature two different powertrains to choose from, with a class-leading range of almost 470 kilometers (292 miles) on a single charge, based on the new WLTP regulations.
