Chances are, if you’re living in one of these 10 states, you love driving on open roads with little congestion.

GasBuddy recently conducted a study using data from its Trips feature, which provides drivers with an assessment of their driving habits during their trip. The company examined tens of millions of Trips in the 50 states from December 2017 to March 2018, discovering which states have the highest average speeds.

Not surprisingly, many of these states have open roads with low congestion. The study also found that some of the states with the highest average speeds have the lowest frequency of aggressive driving events, which makes sense since rapid acceleration and braking doesn’t occur as often w hen there’s little to no traffic.

So if you enjoy uninterrupted driving, you may want to pay a visit to one of these 10 states.
