The 2019 Ford Fusion lineup has been detailed today, with the range-topping Fusion Sport receiving a ton of new content and a huge $6,190 price hike.

Ford has decided to revise the entire Fusion lineup for the 2019 model year. The range starts with the base-spec Fusion S, which remains mostly unchanged, apart from the addition of standard Ford Co-Pilot360 Protect. The suite of semi-autonomous driver assist technologies is now standard on all Fusion models, bringing with it automatic emergency braking, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, automatic high-beams and rain-sensing wipers.

Next in line is the Fusion SE, which receives Ford’s 1.5-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine. The mid-range model also gets an 8-inch LCD touch screen, SYNC Connect with Wi-Fi hotspot and dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, heated seats and heated mirrors. The Fusion SE Hybrid offers the same content but taps a hybrid system with a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle engine in place of the 1.5-liter EcoBoost.
