Older Jeep Liberty SUVs Recalled for Possible Suspension Issue

A total of 325,815 Jeep Liberty SUVs are being recalled.

The voluntary recall affects 2004-2007 model year vehicles and involves a flaw in the rear lower control arms. According to the American automaker, water could build up inside the components and cause corrosion and cracks, possibly interfering with driver control and increasing the risk of a crash. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is aware of a single potentially related accident, but no related injuries.
