Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible Breaks Cover in Germany
Porsche is wasting little time getting its next-generation 911 ready.
The convertible variant of the next-generation Porsche 911 Turbo has been spied testing for the first time, looking much like the coupe we’ve seen several times already. Expected to make its debut sometime next year before heading to dealerships as a 2020 model, the 992 Turbo will be wider than before and will likely be powered by a twin-turbo, flat-six engine with around 580 to 600 horsepower depending on the trim.

Unfortunately the cameras still haven’t had an opportunity to get photos of the new 911 Turbo’s interior, but a version of Audi’s digital Virtual Cockpit is considered a possibility. Hopefully in the near future the German automaker will drop the top on the convertible during testing, allowing our spy photographers to get a few photos of the interior.
