Armored AWD Dodge Charger Hellcat Cop Car is a Sheriff’s Dream

If you were asked to dream-up the ideal police car, you’d probably end up with some sort of powerful, armored all-wheel drive car or SUV with an intimidating exterior appearance.

And that’s exactly what vehicle armoring company Armormax has built with its new bulletproof Dodge Charger Hellcat.

This crime-fighting creation features ballistic armored glass, bulletproof paneling, a front brush guard, police lights and importantly, all-wheel drive. The 707 hp sedan is one of the most powerful armored vehicles ever built, Armormax says, and would definitely be one of the most powerful law enforcement vehicles in America if any municipalities were to pick one up.

Other upgrades applied to this police-spec all-wheel drive Hellcat include an armored passenger compartment and armored plating for the battery, radiator and fuel tank. It also gets police-spec heavy-duty suspension and run-flat tires. Pricing for the police-spec all-wheel drive Charger Hellcat is not yet available, but we imagine this bulletproof package won’t come cheap.
