Thanks to trickery such as AdBlue fluid injected into the exhaust and what Porsche called selective catalytic reduction technology, the 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 is able to pass tough Tier 2 Bin 5 emissions standards and hence become certified for sale in the US.
