4. Aston Martin V12 Zagato

A coachbuilt race car, this is an Aston Martin Vantage underneath and a custom body by Italian Zagato on top. Meshing aggression and Italian style it almost looks like a Nissan GT-R.

I’m not genuinely a fan of Zagato’s designs, often too classical in their style, but here it’s suitably modern.

Also, it’s not any Vantage, but the V12 Vantage, meaning that in place of the regular 4.7-liter V8 is a 5.9-liter V12 making 510 hp.

Certain to be a collectors car, it will stay in pristine condition and only come out for rare occasions, like hitting the track at Laguna Seca. Even 40 years from now I’ll take it to the Monterey Historics where those who know, will really know just how special this car is.
