Porsche Cayman GT4 Caught Testing at the ‘Ring

Is Porsche finally going to allow its entry-level Cayman to be faster than the top-dog 911?

Our latest batch of spy photos shows off the Cayman GT4, a track-ready version of the Cayman. Power numbers for this car are expected to sit between 370 and 400 hp courtesy of a 3.8-liter flat six, connected to the excellent seven-speed PDK dual-clutch auto box. That puts it right in 911 territory, especially considering that this is a lighter car.

The car appears to be production ready, with no camouflage covering up any of its new bits. Compared to the standard Cayman, the GT4 model gets a revised front fascia with larger air intakes, larger wheels with big performance brakes and of course the big fixed wing at the back.
