Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro Wrecked in Practice Run

Loic Duval crashed at high speed in his Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro race car today.
The crash occurred during a free practice session in preparation for the 82nd 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Duval was taken, conscious, from the car and is under medical supervision, but according to the Audi Twitter account is “alert.”
His car is completely destroyed following the crash and Audi will need to completely rebuild the car before Saturday’s race.
Duval was part of the race-winning team last year as part of a three-man team where he racked up his first win at Circuit de la Sarthe.
