2015 Nissan Rogue Awarded Four-Star NHTSA Safety
The newest iteration of the Nissan Rogue has managed a four star score in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) round of crash tests.
Five stars is the maximum rating a vehicle can receive from NHTSA. In the front crash test, the Rogue only managed three stars, while the side and rollover tests elicited five and four star results respectively. The ratings apply to both front- and all-wheel drive models.
The 2015 Rogue Select was not tested by NHTSA as it is a carryover from the 2013 model year. Standard safety equipment on the 2015 Rogue includes antilock brakes, vehicle dynamic control, traction control and six airbags.
