Lamborghini Teases Perfection Times Two for Paris

The fighting bull brand has something crazy under wraps for the Paris Motor Show this year.

Lamborghini just dropped a teaser image with a caption claiming that the company is doubling perfection, although it isn’t clear what that means. The silhouette shows the roof line to what looks like a huge cabin that might have space for a 2+2 seat configuration.

Of course, that could be challenging with the mid-rear engine configuration Lamborghini’s cars use. Ferrari’s 2+2 FF, for example, uses an FR layout. With such skimpy teaser, the company could also be planning to reveal an updated version of the SUV concept first put on display two years ago at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Alternatively, Lamborghini could be using Paris as a venue to keep up with its promised once-a-year production cadence for special one-off products. Last year the company unveiled its Egoista, but so far the Huracan is the only new product to break cover from Sant’agata Bolognese this year.

We reached out to our contact at Lamborghini who declined to go on record saying what the car is, but promised that “it’s like a time machine… but faster.”

Update: Rumors floating around following the teaser image being released suggest that the car will, in fact, be a four-seat adaptation of the Aventador.
