Aggressive maneuvering, horns blaring, center-most fingers locked in their upright positions, these are but a few hallmarks of ill-mannered motoring. Surly, rushed or otherwise incompetent drivers cause mayhem on America’s country roads and urban thoroughfares.

Practically every driver has experienced road rage; most of us have probably even perpetrated it in one way, shape or form at some point. But are there any particular areas to avoid, places where the motorists are especially bad-mannered? As a matter of fact, yes! Here are the Top 10 States with the Rudest Drivers, a list compiled by the website Insure.com (not to be conflated with the geriatric beverage Ensure).
