Top 10 States with the Rudest Drivers
8 of 11
4. Wyoming
Just saying this state’s name, Why-O’Ming makes it sound you’re asking an Irish-Chinese person a question. Anyway, drivers here have a well-deserved reputation for rudeness, to say nothing of their outright reckless on-road behavior. In fact Wyoming ranks second in roadway fatalities involving pickup trucks and SUVs. In 2012 it was also second-place in roadway fatalities per 100,000 people, falling to North Dakota in both instances. If all this weren’t bad enough, drivers in Cheyenne are noted for running red lights, disregarding stop signs, speeding and not using their turn signals. The Cowboy State is the perfect nickname for this untamed place.
