Renault Alpine Reveals Wild Vision Gran Turismo Concept
Renault has introduced its Vision Gran Turismo concept to the world.
The French automaker has hinted at a return to form by also creating a real-life, full-scale version of the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, previewing what the company has in store for its Alpine sub-brand.
As for the virtual version of the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, it’ll be heading to Gran Turismo 6 on the PlayStation 3 as a free update in March. For those in France, the physical model is on display at the 2015 Festival Automobile International Paris.

The orange and blue color scheme of the concept pays homage to Alpine’s history of motorsports in the 1960s and according to Renault, the concept marks “a new chapter in the make’s revival” in motorsport. As far as virtual world specs, the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo packs a 4.5-liter V8 engine producing 445 hp and has a top speed of around 200 mph. Oh yeah, it also weighs in at just 1,984 virtual pounds.
