Porsche 911 GT3 Facelift Sheds Camouflage for Nurburgring Testing
The facelifted Porsche 911 GT3 is getting ready for its debut.
There’s actually very little mystery left to the 991.2 GT3 ever since the German automaker debuted the 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car. But with the standard production model wearing no camouflage at all during test sessions at the Nurburgring, we can now see both front and rear bumpers fully revealed. Out back, the air outlet has been moved to the underside of the rear spoiler, while the previous 911 GT3 had it in the rear bumper.

Of course the biggest news for the facelifted Porsche 911 GT3 is the return of the manual transmission as an option. The same six-speed manual transmission developed for the 911 R will be available on the updated GT3.
Expect more details to be announced when the model debuts in the coming weeks.
