2015 Dodge SRT Challenger Hellcat Makes Live Debut
The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat was just made its live debut at the Midwest Automotive Media Association Rally.
Dodge’s first-ever supercharged V8 muscle car makes at least 600 hp and can come with gargantuan 15.4-inch Brembo front brake rotors. So far, Dodge hasn’t said very much about what else to expect from the car aside from an eight-speed automatic or a traditional six-speed manual gearbox.
The grille looks like it houses four headlights in photos, but the inner set are actually illuminated rings acting as bezels around a couple of air inlets.

Two key fobs come with the car: one is red and the other is black. The black fob limits engine output in case you lend the car to someone who might make a beeline to the nearest parking lot to light up the rear tires. There is also a valet mode that locks out first gear and prevents the engine from revving past 4,000 RPM among other things.
